To answer customer complaints, the Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) has started holding open courts every day.
As the chair of the open court conducted at the Multan Circle Complex, Superintendent Engineer of MEPCO Multan Circle, Malik Javed Iqbal Wains said, “Consumers could visit the firm for registration and settlement of their grievances pertaining to billing and power.”
Superintendent Engineer added that it was their duty to resolve customers’ issues and that any negligence would not be accepted in that regard.
He added that “I’ve directed all SDOs to respond to consumer phone calls and handle complaints immediately, submitted to the Sub-Divisional Complaint Centers as quickly as possible.”
Deputy Director Technical, Multan Circle, Ghulam Mohiuddin Maitla, Additional XEN Taj Mehmood Qamar, SDO Sheikh Muhammad Kamran and Technical Assistant Rana Muhammad Mazhar were also there in the meeting.
