The open court for the company’s south circle was presided over by Hafiz Mian Muhammad Nauman, Chairman of the LESCO board of directors (LESCO BoD).
On this occasion, the BoD Member Jahanzeb Badar, LESCO Chief Engineer O&M (Operations and Maintenance), SE South Circle, all XENs, SDOs (Sub-Divisional Officers), revenue officers of the South Circle, media representatives, and a sizable number of customers were present. Chaudhry Muhammad Amin, the Chief Executive Officer of LESCO, also attended.
According to Hafiz Mian Muhammad Nauman, “For the convenience of the electricity users, we have begun holding open courts in all LESCO circles.
“According to him, LESCO is in charge of providing energy to over 250 million users, and “as per Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif’s goal, we are on the forefront to serve the people.”
Hafiz Nauman continued by saying that the government was aware of the issues facing the populace and that, given the situation, it was working hard to alleviate such issues by enacting agreeable and practical policies.
He stated that “We believe in rewarding excellent performers and penalizing those displaying laxity in their official obligations.”
He also threatened to discipline LESCO officers who failed to find solutions for the clients’ complaints. Customers’ complaints were heard by the BoD Chairman Hafiz Mian Muhammad Nauman and the LESCO Chief Chaudhry Muhammad Amin, who then immediately ordered their quick repair.
They also made sure that no consumer complaint was still pending.
