The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Engineering Wing has been instructed by the commissioner to finish the construction of the Lahore Flyover at Ferozepur Road by the mid of April.
He added that the citizens’ work in the public interest won’t be impacted by the strategy of delaying NOCs and a lack of coordination. He said that after passing through the Gulab Devi Hospital underpass, the citizens were having issues because of a heavy traffic jam at the flyover that was still under construction.
Commissioner Chaudhry Muhammad Ali Randhawa arrived at the site to inspect the Lahore Bridge construction in order to address local issues.
He gave the LDA a target date of mid-April for the completion of the Lahore flyover extension.
According to the commissioner, the Lahore Flyover extension will significantly improve traffic flow for residents. In order for LESCO to shut down the large poles in accordance with the flyover contractor’s timeline, he requested that the railway authorities give NOC on Thursday (today).
He remarked that in order to finish the extension of the Lahore Flyover on schedule, work should be done continuously.
