PML-N is Urging LESCO to Cut Unit Price for Industries

Last Updated On May 16, 2023 By John Thomas

On Thursday, a delegation from the Kattar Band Road Industrial (KBRIA) Association met with LESCO Chief Executive Officer Shahid Haider and had a constructive discussion about the difficulties confronting the trade and industry.

The delegation, led by President Syed Mahmood Ghaznavi, Vice-President Mian Nawaz, and Secretary Ch Yousaf, congratulated the LESCO CEO on his new position.

On this occasion, the president of KBRIA stated that industries are closing, and as a result, people are suffering as a result of overbilling, unscheduled power interruptions, and overpriced electricity. He requested that these issues be addressed as soon as possible.

In order to lower the industry’s production costs and enable it to compete with other nations on the global market, he urged that the government lower the price of power for the industry.

Shahid Haider, CEO of LESCO, gave the delegation the reassurance that the company’s problems, particularly overbilling, will be remedied soon.
