So finally NEPRA has thrown another electricity bomb on the public calling it “FPA Adjustment”.
LESCO Electricity per unit price will be increased by 1.60 Rs in May 2023 bills. This will result in an additional 12 billion Rupees burden on us which is not bearable in this era when inflation is already at its peak.
This is effective immediately which means you will see it in your May 2023 bills as “FPA Adjustment”.
Please note this is not applicable to Lifeline K-Electric consumers.
Let’s see the reason behind all of it.
DISCO’s produced electricity in April with less dependence on water, local and imported coal which has produced this adjustment for electricity consumers.
