NEPRA Approved Rs. 5.40 Price Increment on Per Unit

National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has approved an increment of Rs. 5.40 on each unit which will be received from consumers in quarterly adjustment/tariff for the fourth quarter of this year, 2023.

Ex-WAPDA Distribution Companies (XWDISCOs) put a request to NEPRA a few months back to have it approved but then it happened.

We as a consumer will face huge or massive bills for the next 3 months which are September, October and November of 2023.

This will put an additional burden of 144 Billion Rupees all over Pakistan excluding K-Electric and Lifeline Customers.
