NEPRA Announced 1.90 Rs per Unit Price Hike for July Bills

You were a price decrease in electricity price due to downfall of the dollar and petroleum products in Pakistan.

AM I RIGHT? YES, I AM!

No, it is not gonna happen. Because NEPRA has increased electricity prices all over Pakistan to 1.90 for each unit in terms of FCA.

Consumers will see this impact in May 2023 electricity bill of this price hike.

Although CPPA (Central Power Purchasing Agency) had requested for 2.05 Rs increase per unit price after holding a hearing on it, NEPRA decide to increase it to 1.90 Rs.

Which is definitely, not a relief.

Whatever it is, either FCA or CPPA this is a flood of inflation to Pakistani Citizens.

NOTE: This is not applicable on K-Electric consumers.
