Defective meters replacement is becoming a headache for LESCO as the numbers are increasing. Procurement department is unable to maintain the purchasing and supply of new meters.
Although, Single-Phase and Three-Phase need to be replaced at this moment but only single-phase meters have been taken into consideration.
Only for the month of January 2023, single-phase meters were replaced but for the months of February, March, April, May and June, not a single complaint is taken into consideration.
LESCO is sending Average Bills to the affectees based on their last 11 months’ consumption history of electricity units which would be unfair for some consumers and will be beneficial for some in the meantime.
Momentarily we hope that this will be resolved.
