LESCO and all other DISCOs are influenced by political changes somehow in terms of top-level hiring and appointments. Prime Minister Imran Khan dissolved the National Assembly and was planning to dissolve the Provincial Assembly as well due to the presentation of a No-Confidence Motion against him.
But today 7th March 2022 at 07:00 PM, Supreme Court has reversed Deputy Speaker Asad Qaiser’s Ruling on the dismissal of the No-Confidence Motion and restored the National Assembly and the decision is to present this motion this coming Saturday.
So Let’s see what is going to happen with LESCO and other DISCOs since a lot of parliamentarians do trade in Fuel Supply and a recent frequent electricity outage was proof of this impact on power supply etc. Keeping in mind that PML N has a strong chance to be in action and could be in government in the next election so there could be an impact of appointments on all electricity relevant organizations etc.
