LAHORE: A LESCO truck from Poonch Road was allegedly stolen along with a fire truck, according to a suspect who was detained for fire truck theft.
In accordance with an FIR filed by the assistant manager of LESCO subdivision Islamia Park, the truck was taken on July 4 after the driver had left it at a nearby park. According to the complainant, unknown thieves stole it.
An unidentified suspect left Queens Road earlier this week driving a fire vehicle. After registering a case, the police began an investigation and procured CCTV from Punjab Safe City Authority (PSCA).

The truck was seen being driven on many routes in the video, but it ultimately disappeared.
Police detained a junk dealer named Shahzad during the search and found the truck when they raided his store.
Shahzad admitted to stealing both the fire vehicle and the LESCO truck when questioned. Police used phone calls and CCTV footage to evaluate his claims against the evidence.
Police were looking into the situation more closely.
