Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) couldn’t cope with load-shedding in Lahore and the cities or villages in its circle.
National Power Grid is supplying 4500 MegaWatts but demand is for 4930 MegaWatts or would be around 5000.
So, LESCO is having a 430 MW shortfall in electric power.

According to the spokesperson of LESCO, citizens of Lahore have 2 hours of load-shedding schedule and villages/other LESCO cities or high line losses areas have 3 hours of load-shedding planned schedule.
But it is totally wrong because in Lahore only, we are observing an unplanned electricity shutdown and are facing at least 6 to 7 hours of load-shedding which is unacceptable.
